During February, arrivals from our two major European markets namely France and Germany were up by 5.6% and 3.9% respectively on account of a flat euro versus the Mauritian rupee. British arrivals, however, retreated by 6% amidst Brexit uncertainty, despite a stronger pound.
On the other side of the globe, arrivals from China fell again, by a massive 39.4% this time. Indian arrivals followed this trend by posting a slight 0.4% decline.
On the African side, arrivals from Reunion Island and South Africa went down by 3.5% and 8.9% respectively.
